Mateo James' goal is to make music that will resonate with people around the world. He has been composing since age 13, inspired by the amazing Final Fantasy composer, Nobuo Uematsu. He has a music composition degree from the University of Alberta and travelled many different places in the world that inspired him to write. 

 

He has composed for many different mediums and events: such as ebook apps, documentaries,  concert bands and orchestras, film, musicals, and more. 

 

Mateo loves to make music that is colorful, poetic, infused with passion, and can connect with the listeners.
